Fall 2020 Course Materials Orders

Colleagues,

With the move to online courses for the Summer 2020 session, the CSU Bookstore is making plans to provide needed course materials for CSU students. Both print and electronic course materials will be available for the Summer and Fall semesters. As you determine what materials you will be using for Summer and Fall 2020 classes, please contact your department coordinator or the Bookstore as soon as possible so they can research available course materials formats.

Digital course materials have made significant enrichments in recent years. If you have considered using digital materials, including Unizin, Inclusive Assess, and OER materials, the Bookstore has many resources to help, both in providing materials to students and in helping you get set up with digital materials. You can contact Deanna Rea at deanna.rea@colostate.edu or Kurt Kaiser at kurt.kaiser@colostate.edu, and they can help you find the materials you need.  Please place your course materials orders by April 15, 2020.

Timely course materials orders:

  • Ensure the Bookstore will have materials available the first day of class.
  • Help the Bookstore source lower cost materials via alternate sources.
  • Provide course materials information to CSU students prior to the beginning of the semester, allowing them to shop multiple sources for needed materials.
  • Help increase the amount of money your students can receive for unneeded textbooks.
  • Ensure CSU meets Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) requirements for course materials usage.

The CSU Bookstore is working on the best way for students to return Spring 2020 books, both for rental returns and for student book sell back. Additional book return information will be available to on the Bookstore’s website at www.bookstore.colostate.edu.
